2023

After purchasing my first HDR400 capable monitor, Windows wasn't recognizing HDR support. Turns out there's an easy fix for Dell monitors.

2022

Responsive images are a must have when building websites, so I decided to generate AVIF and WebP images for use in a <srcset> responsive image tag. However, Chrome was defaulting to the standard JPG.

2020

As a digital marketer, I'm constantly loading Google Analytics to view site performance metrics. I have a couple very specific requirements when looking at performance data in Analytics.

In the last three years I've been through three camera bodies, eleven different lenses (some twice!), and a host of camera accessories. I think it's time to settle down with a set of quality lenses and be content.

2019

While I'm very satisfied with my Sony 24-105 G, I had the opportunity to play around with a set of Sigma Art lenses. Despite the size and weight, I love them. It's a series of lenses that sacrifices everything in the pursuit of image quality.

I'm currently loaded up with the awesome Sony Zeiss lenses, the 16-35mm f/4, 35mm f/2.8, 55mm f/1.8. It's a great trio. Lately I've been wondering if it's possible to roll those into one lens, mainly the Sony 24-105 G.

2018

I've started shooting lots of cars for Bring a Trailer auctions. One single 35mm Sony Zeiss wasn't going to cut it. That means I'm in need of a lens upgrade!

For the last year or so I've absolutely loved my Batis lenses. However, I think it's time for a change to the Sony Zeiss. The whole point of going mirrorless was to keep size and weight down as much as possible.

2017

I think I've got a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out) when it comes to full frame. I haven't reached the capabilities of my Sony A6000, but I still can't shake the feeling that I'd be getting more out of a full frame A7.

If you're ready to work together, so am I.
